The Squirrel proof selective model 18804 features many patented advancements which reflects their 9 years of experience making these feeders. The vinyl coated cage around this feeder prevents squirrels and larger birds from reaching the food and provides lots of perches for birds. Small birds fly thru the openings of the cage with remarkable ease. The all metal design will resist squirrels teeth and breakage from falls. The roof of the cage provides shelter from rain while the bottom is wire so water drains and seed can't accumulate to feed lingering squirrels or unwanted birds. The lid opens easily for filling and a small metal tab ; the Squirrel Lock, prevents rodents from opening the lid. A new feature on many duncraft feeders is the Easy Clean Base which allows the base to be removed easily without tools for complete cleaning. The feeding tube is made of recycled resin.

Capacity:

Holds 1.5 pounds of seed. We recommend using Oil sunflower, Sunflower chips or Nyjer thistle seed for the best results.
