Squirrel Buster Plus

The Squirrel Buster Plus keeps your feeding area free of squirrels, saving seeds and money. The combination of large Capacity, ventilation system and selectivity of weight sensitivity sets this feeder apart from other Squirrel proof feeders.
How it works. Openings in the lower cover of the feeder align with the seed ports and so birds have access to the seed. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the cover down, closing access to the seed ports. Squirrels and many large birds are foiled. The unique aspect of the Squirrel Buster Plus is that you can adjust the weight sensitivity to stop squirrels from feeding but still allow larger birds such as cardinals and jays to feed. A large 3 quart capacity means you don't have to fill the feeder often and the seed ventilation system keeps seeds fresher, longer.
The Squirrel Buster series feature many of the latest technologies for bird safety: The whole feeder disassembles easily without tools and can be put in the dishwasher. All the perches are adjustable for accommodating only very small perching birds to the largest birds like band tailed pigeons and others. One of the best features is the patented seed tube ventilation system. Typical acrylic Seed feeders act as a greenhouse allowing humidity (and later mold) to build up inside the feeder, spoiling seed. The ventilation system allows cooler air to enter through vents at the bottom and the warm and humid air to flow out the vents in the lid of the feeder. This keeps seeds fresher and safer for the birds. The Squirrel Buster Plus features a 2 year factory warranty against any squirrel damage.
IMPORTANT: All weight activated feeders should be at least 16 inches away from a surface which squirrels could stand on and stretch over to eat, Which takes their weight of the feeder, and defeats the mechanism. The weight sensitivity is adjustable but since chipmunks weigh the same as most of the birds keeping chipmunks out also stops most of the birds from feeding as well.
