Aspects Oriole Bird Feeder

Orioles are noted for the splendor of their black and orange or yellow plumage and the beauty of their songs. Of the eight varieties of orioles found in North America only five are widespread. They are the Bullock's Oriole, which lives in the West, the Baltimore and Orchards Orioles, which live predominantly in the eastern and central portions of the country; and the Scott's and Hooded Orioles, which live in the Southwest. An oriole's diet consists of three main items: insects, fruit, and nectar. Often orioles can be seen "stealing" nectar from hummingbird feeders, but they appear awkward at the feeders, with their bodies too big to make good use of feeders designed for smaller hummingbirds.
