Klutz Battery Science

This is one of my favorite electronic kits. It is utilizes simple objects creatively and has great illustrations. It goes a long way in teaching about batteries, motors, and electricity all while building some really fun projects. With this kit plus some easy to find household objects build a crazy pencil shaker, air boat (and a hovercraft), a shaking bug, a submersible boat, door alarms, and more. It features the very clear directions and sense of humor Klutz is famous. The kit Includes a genuine Klutz alkaline battery, a Special film canister battery holder, a buzzer, a propeller, a light bulb, a motor and other useful doodads – everything you need for all eight illustrated projects (plus many ideas for extra projects . Toss in a little history and science and you've got an activity book so good, it's shocking. Written by Doug Stillinger. For ages 8 and up.
