Erva Cylindrical Squirrel Baffle (dome top)

If it is at all possible, Setting up your existing feeding station to restrict squirrel access is superior to purchasing a new (usually complicated and expensive) squirrel proof feeder. Luckily Erva Tool and manufacturing makes a variety of products to keep squirrels from your bird feeder. The cylindrical squirrel baffle does not interfere with your view of the area around your feeding station as much as a disc baffle wood but is just as effective. This baffle slides over poles up to 1 5/8” in diameter and is attached with included hardware. While squirrels can climb up a metal pole by wrapping their little paws all the way around the pole the larger diameter of the cylinder does not allow their paws enough purchase to climb the pole. The dome top adds more protection for squirrels that jump a little farther than expected. The baffle is Constructed of powder coated Steel for durability and is 6 1/9”diamether and 16 ¾”long. Note: the baffle should be placed 4’ above ground and the pole assembly should be at least 10 feet from any trees, sheds, deck railings etc. that a squirrel might use to jump onto the feeder.
