Havahart Window Bird Feeder

If you don't have a yard for a feeder or just want to watch the birds up close window feeders are a great choice. The Havahart window feeder formerly the K-feeder window feeder has long been our favorite window feeder. The top slides off easily for filling and cleaning while the suction cups remain securely attached to the window. The seed stays clean because birds feed from perches outside the feeding area. The feeder comes with two feeding ports; a nyjer seed port with tiny openings and a larger opening for sunflower seed or other seeds. We have had the best luck attracting birds to windows using either nyjer seed or sunflower chips- Goldfinches and chickadees seem to come most regularly to window feeders, after chickadees are used to coming to the feeder you can switch to oil sunflower. ` Warning: be sure to read the instruction before assembly and do not assemble the sunflower seed ports outside the feeder because once these ports are attached they are very difficult to take apart.
