Full Moonrise Hike

Join Northwest Nature Shop for a guided night hike under the full moon! Night hiking is a unique experience that everyone should experience; for the luminous stars, the serenity, and the June “strawberry” moon. We will hike to a vantage point along the Rogue Valley rim in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument and watch the full moon rise around 8:15pm. We will observe the night sky, look for bats, and discuss all things lunar. All ages are welcome on this easy-moderate hike.
Carpool leaving the Northwest Nature Shop at 6:30pm, returning by 9:30pm
Bring sturdy shoes, pants, jacket, water and snacks. Flashlights are welcome, but will be used minimally at the discretion of the hike leader.
