Northwest Nature Shop Event Calendar 2009

March
Fridays, March 6,13, 20 and 27th. Nature Story Time 10:30 am. Delightful nature stories in the toy room at the NW Nature Shop. Free and open to all ages.
March 7th Rogue River Bird Walk 8 am meet at the NW Nature Shop to carpool. Call to sign up, 482-3241. Free
March 21 Bird Walk just for KIDS Meet at the Northwest Nature Shop at 10 am to walk to Lithia Park. Call to sign up, 482-3241. Free

April 2nd Boomer's Guide To Lighweight Backpacking Presentation From 6:30 pm –8:30 pm at The Northwest Nature Shop. Get up to speed on all the new products and load-lightening techniques to make your next trail experience a great one. Free
Fridays, April 3, 10,17, and 24th Nature Story Time 10:30 am. Delightful nature stories in the toy room at the NW Nature Shop. Free and open to all ages.
April 4th Wildflower and Bird Walk to Table Rock. Meet at the Northwest Nature Shop . 8 am– noon. Call to sign up, 482-3241. Free
April 4th Rabbits are Coming ! At the Northwest Nature Shop, 11 am-2 pm. Rabbits are here to admire and hold for children and adults of all ages. A very fun spring event. Free
April 18th Wildflower Walk to Table Rock by author, Susan Mackinnon. Meet at the Northwest Nature Shop at 9:30 am to carpool. $10 per person.
May
Saturday, May 2nd Spring Wild Mushroom Show at the NW Nature Shop bring in your own mushrooms to be identified, look at our collected mushrooms. Learn all about local spring mushrooms.
May 2nd Bird Walk to Jacksonville Woodlands Meet at the NW Nature Shop at 8 am. Call to sign up, 541-482-3241.
May 9th Mushroom Walk Meet at the Northwest Nature Shop at 10 am. Find mushrooms and learn how to identify the edible and poisonous ones. $15. Sign up in advance.
